Nursery Manager

Required for 1st September 2018 or earlier.

We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified and inspirational Nursery Manager who has the ability to lead our team to provide high quality care and a stimulating educational environment for children under 5 years of age.  The Nursery, which stands in its own grounds within the School site, was rated as Outstanding in every area in the last three inspections.  It has an excellent reputation and remains full.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

The Peterborough School Nursery which is an OFSTED registered and ISI 'Outstanding' setting requires:

  • Childcare Practitioners (Part-time 9.00am-2.00pm and 1.00pm-6.00pm - rotating weekly)
  • Childcare Practitioner (Pre-school, Full Time, Maternity Cover)
  • Childcare Practitioner (Pre-school, Full Time, Permanent)
  • Childcare Practitioner (Toddler Room, Full Time, Permanent)

The ideal candidates will have a firm knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage, have a childcare qualification at Level 2 or above (willing to work to Level 3) and relevant experience within an Early Years setting.

We offer a competitive remuneration package in extremely good, friendly working conditions, including free uniform and subsidised meals.  Many of our staff have been trained to degree level while in our employment and additional training is offered in First Aid, Food Hygiene and Safeguarding.
