Speech Day - Friday 20th October

Dr Emily Grossman, Science Communicator, Broadcaster and Writer, will be presenting the prizes at this year's Speech Day.

We will be delighted to welcome Dr Emily Grossman to join us at Peterborough Cathedral to deliver the guest address and present the prizes at Speech Day on Friday 20th October.

Dr Grossman graduated with a first class degree in natural sciences from Queens' College, Cambridge and then gained her PhD in cancer research from Manchester. She is a familiar face on television, appearing on the Sky 1 show Duck Quacks Don't Echo, ITV's The Alan Titchmarsh Show and Discovery Channel's How Do They Do It?

As well as being a passionate advocate for gender equality and diversity in STEM, she has lectured at the Royal Academy, The Royal Statistical Society and The Royal College of Physicians.  Dr Grossman's other loves of theatre and drama have also seen her take to the stage in professional productions.
