Preparatory children and parents have raised at least £1000 by running at least a mile in Santa Costumes.  Children from Reception Class upwards took to the back pitch in freezing conditions to complete the course and raise money.

Afterwards, at the awards ceremony, all children received a medal and special prizes were awarded for the best Reception, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 costumes.

A great afternoon was had by all and the total amount raised is expected to top £1000 once all the sponsorship money has been collected.  Funds will be spent on additional equipment for the Sports Facility.

Well done to all those who took part and a big thank you to the parents who braved the weather and joined in.
